Bent Lamination Book Holder

This goal of this project was to create a functional table top sized object using bent lamination techniques. Bent lamination is a technique used for creating bent wooden parts. You create a form that has the curve you want to use. Then you create thin strips of material and glue them all up together around that form. once the glue is dry the laminated layers become one and hold the shape of that curve.
The piece is capable of holding large hard cover books in either open or closed position and is great for displaying books or possibly use on a lecturn.
